50 Percent Of People With Diabetes Have Arthritis

According to a new study, nearly 50% of diabetes patients living in the U.S. also have arthritis.Washington - According to a new study, nearly 50% of diabetes patients living in the U.S. also have arthritis.

The study was conducted via a survey of more than 800,000 people living in the U.S.

Those who responded to the study stated that on top of their diabetes, many of them also suffered from arthritis.

Around 30% of people living with diabetes and arthritis were found to be more likely to be inactive. This compared to 21% of patients with diabetes, but without arthritis.

There are currently 46 million Americans living with some form of arthritis, with 21 million living with diabetes.

The majority of those with both diabetes and arthritis were over the age of 65.
