Boston - U.S. surgeons in Miami have managed to succesfully remove a 16-pound tumor from the face of 15-year old Lai Thi Dao from Vietnam.
Lai Thi Dao has been suffering from the growing tumor since she was just 3-years old.
It has grown to the point where it keeps her from speaking, eating, and doing normal thing such as going to school.
Doctors in Miami were able to perform surgery which cost over $100,000 to remove the tumor.
The tumor made up 35% of her total body weight.
She is now expected to reover fully and should be able to return to school as a normal girl once again.
