Leaders of Atlantic City, New Jersey have voted in favor of banning smoking on the gambling floor in all casinos.
The vote came in from the City Council on Wednesday.
The vote was unanimous in favor of the new rule which would ban smoking on the casino floors.
This was the last major blow to smoking, as the statewide ban on smoking in public buildings is now complete.
The ban will go into effect on October 15.
Those in Atlantic City will still be able to smoke in lounges away from slot machines and table games.
