According to new research, the belief that drinking lots of water is healthy, has turned out to be false.According to new research, the belief that drinking lots of water is healthy, has turned out to be false.

The leader of this research as Dr. Stanley Goldfarb of the University of Pennsylvania.

Goldfarb and his colleagues looked into various belief about drinking lots of water. These include the idea that drinking water could improve skin tone, flush out toxins in the body, and also help relieve headaches.

What they found in the research though is that drinking lots of water did not do any of this. All that is needed to receive the full benefit of water is to simply drink when you are thirsty.

He stated the only benefit observed was weight-loss.
