Samsung and Adidas have announced a partnership, placing the two in a position to go head to head with he Apple and Nike product, Nike+iPod. The new product is called miCoach, and is a full-blown workout training system.
The miCoach system combines the new Samsung miCoach phone, as well as a heart rate monitor, stride sensor, and more.
miCoach is set to launch in Europe in the middle of March.
The new technology should be geat looking for a personal trainer of sorts. It is going to track all sorts of progress such as your running, what goals you should reach etc. You can then upload all of this information to the miCoach web site to keep track of everything.
Eric Liedtke, vice president of Adidas Brand Marketing stated “miCoach is the most advanced interactive training system in the marketplace, blending sophisticated mobile technology with the most advanced in sport innovation and training.”
The phone itself has 1GB of memory capacity, a 2-megapixel camera, and is available in seven colors.
