It appears that Australian born actor-director Mel Gibson has learned the degree of anger and bitterness that can result from a woman scorned. A year ago he and Russian lover Oksana Grigorieva were cooing and kissing in public. Then he dumped the 40 year old brunette who had just given birth to his youngest child Lucia. Now it seems that there will soon be a face off among Gibson, ex-fiance & court officials to settle the differences of the battling twosome.

According to reports from People magazine Gibson has had a restraining order issued against his ex- fiancee Grigorieva. It goes to show that the Hollywood gossips were right on target several months ago when they proclaimed that the sudden break-up was too friendly to be true. Romantic entanglements are rarely a smooth sailing adventure even when all of the dynamics are positive and an amicable split is even less likely to be seen under any circumstances.

It is being said that the main issues are those regarding the 7 month old Lucia. Gibson is demanding additional rights regarding visitation and access to his child and Oksana seems unwilling to budge on her position. Who can blame her for digging in her heels when it was Gibson who turned tail and hurried out the door leaving her and his child in the dust? This may all boil down to a real “Mad Maxx” moment before all is said and done.
