The affair that wealthy trial lawyer, former U.S. Senator and one time Presidential candidate John Edwards has had with Rielle Hunter has turned out to be an expensive one.
After John Edwards finally admitted he fathered a child with Ms. Hunter and the subsequent investigation into whether Edwards used campaign donations as some sort of hush money, it appears Hunter is now asking for a ton of child support from Edwards.
Edwards is expected by Hunter to end up paying for the child’s haircare at two hundred and fifty dollars a month. The other expenses involved include entertainment and birthday parties. Some would argue that these expenses were too high, but not Ms. Hunter.
Ms. Hunter had her attorney send a letter to the Edwards camp expressing the need for Edwards to share his assets with his child.
The attorney said it was important for the child to live a comfortable life style given that the father has such a high net worth. It should be noted that Edwards was considering buying Hunter a house apparently until she started playing Hardball over the child support issue.
Edwards also has two other children to support with his current wife Elizabeth Edwards who continues to battle cancer.
