Adam Lambert cancels some appearances after his AMA performance

During his Sunday performance at the American Music Awards, Lambert imitated inappropriate gestures, had a dancer on a leash, gave the middle finger and of course the main show stopper…kissed a male band member.“Good Morning America” broadcasted on U.S. network ABC has canceled the performance of runner up Idol Adam Lambert, scheduled for Wednesday morning.

During his Sunday performance at the American Music Awards, Lambert imitated inappropriate gestures, had a dancer on a leash, gave the middle finger and of course the main show stopper…kissed a male band member. Lambert has since defended his performance, while ABC has received thousands of calls and emails from people who were offended by his performance.

A representative for ABC said, “Given his controversial American Music Awards performance, we were concerned about airing a similar concert so early in the morning.”

CBS also announced Tuesday that Lambert is going to pass on the show “The Early Show” Wednesday morning, where he was supposed to sing and discuss the reactions to his performance on Sunday.

The cancellation of his visit to “Good Morning America” was first covered by the websites TVNewser and Hollywood Life.
