Farrah Fawcett, now age 62, is back in the hospital with her long struggle with anal cancer and is not doing very well. It is stated that she was hospitalized just two weeks ago in a Los Angeles hospital. This happened just a day after her longtime companion O’Neal told ABC News that the two of them were planning to get married after being together for 30 years. O’Neal revealed this news to Barbara Walters in an interview.
Fawcett and O’Neal began dating back in 1980 and have lived together with their son Redmond. The two of them have never officially married and that is not because of O’Neal’s not trying. The wedding should be a high point in Fawcett’s battle with cancer and just might be the motivation she needs to help her recover and get out of the hospital.
Ryan O’Neal discusses his relationship with Farrah Fawcett this Friday on ABC-TV. He says that Farrah is now in and out and he never leaves her side during her cancer battle. O’Neal goes to her house each day and watches out for her and often turns down work to be with her. The only thing that he is doing these days is making sure that Farrah is comfortable. He is devoted to seeing that she is getting through each moment as comfortable as possibly.
