Washington (OTL) – The Golden Globe awarded to the late Heath Ledger for his role as the Joker in The Dark Knight will be given to his daughter.
Heath Ledger passed away nearly a year ago but won his first Golden Globe on Sunday night for Best Supporting actor for his role as the Joker in The Dark Knight.
The film is the second-highest grossing film of all time behind only Titanic.
The award is going to be given to his 3-year old daughter Matilda Rose, according to Heath’s mother.
The entire Ledger family is reportedly very proud over the award that was given.
This is going to go down as an amazing legacy for Heath Ledger.
This has also sparked new rumors that Heath Ledger will also be awarded an Oscar before the year is out.
