This marks the fourth year in-a-row that Britney Spears stood above the rest as the most searched term.
She has taken this throne seven out of the last eight years overall.
This comes as the 27-year old just releasd her brand new hit album Circus.
Just behind Britney Spears on the list is World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) the sports entertainment company, followed by US president-elect Barack Obama.
In the four and five spots were Miley Cyrus, and the video game RuneScape.
