Hollywood (OTL) - Stars of the popular MTV reality series “The Hills” Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt tied the knot in Mexico last week. The wedding was a well kept secret. They were engaged for eight months before deciding on tying the knot.
Neither Montag nor Pratt invited their parents or family to the ceremony. Thursday’s fifteen minute ceremony took place at a resort outside of Cabos San Lucas, Mexico.
Spencer and Heidi wrote their own vows. Spencer said “Being with you, I feel complete. I’m honored to even be able to call you my wife. You are the most amazing, loving and caring woman on this planet. I will love you forever and always.”
Heidi vowed to Spencer that”From the moment I met you, I knew I wanted to marry you. I never knew love existed like this. You have opened my eyes and shown me a new world. Every moment with you is magical and amazing.”
After the ceremony Montag told reporters, “The minute we said our vows, I couldn’t stop crying.”
Pratt and Montag’s relationship was not always this loving. They broke up in 2007 because of accusations of Pratt having a roving eye, but they did manage to patch up their relationship and got back together in May 2008.
Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton broke the news of Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt marrying on Monday.
Reportedly Heidi and Spencer sold photo and story rights exclusively to Us Magazine.
Bets are already being made as to how long their celebrity union will last.
