Toronto (OTL) - Metallica has managed to top the album charts with the release of their latest album.
Metallica had only a three-day sales window, but still managed to sell nearly 500,000 copies of their new album, Death Magnetic.
The new Metallica album is now at the top of the Billboard 200 according to Nielsen SoundScan.
This is the first studio album from the band since 2003, and sold 490,000 copies in its opening 3 days.
This is the biggest release since the Jonas Brothers ” A Little Bit Longer” sold 525,000 copies a few weeks back.
