Hollywood (OTL) - Teen pop star Vanessa Hudgens has been hit with a $5 million lawsuit by her former manager and producer, Johnny Viera.
Viera filed the lawsuit on Monday in the Los Angeles Superior Court, and claims that he and Hudgens entered an agreement back in May 2005 that they would launch her career, and split her earnings 50/50.
Once Hudgens managed to garner a great deal of success via Disney’s High School Musical though, Viera was dropped.
Vanessa Hudgens reportedly did not pay him what he had coming to him.
The father of Hudgens has stated that Viera has a “predatory nature” to him, and that he does this type of thing with unsuspecting talent.
