It is expected that O'Brien will leave his chair at the Late Show some time around March, or not later than April.Toronto - May 29, 2009 will officially be the last day of work for the always funny Jay Leno.

NBC has confirmed the date for Jay’s big retirement show, which is sure to be a ratings monster for the network.

On June 1, 2009 Conan O’Brien will try and fill the shoes of Jay Leno, when he take over his job.

It is expected that O’Brien will leave his chair at the Late Show some time around March, or not later than April.

From there, he will move from New York to Los Angeles to prepare for the new show.

Filling the spot for O’Brien will be Saturday Night Live’s funny man, Jimmy Fallon.

NBC will be airing O’Brien re-runs until Fallon’s show is off and running.
