Toronto - Amy Winehouse’s husband Blake Fielder-Civil wont be getting out of jail any time soon. He has already served 254 days. He has been sentenced to 27 months, and isn’t expected to be released until Christmas.
Mr. Fielder-Civil got himself in this mess back November after being charged with assault and obstructing justice.
How did he get himself in this mess you ask? Well, this brave sole got himself in fight with a pub manager, and realizing what he had done, tired to bribe the man to not talk to the police or press.
The judge, to say the least, was not very impressed with Fielder-Civil for acting in a “cowardly and disgraceful way.”
Blake has been in jail since November 2007 and the time that he has already served will count towards his 27-month sentence.
