Disney and Pixar’s Wall-E managed to absolutely own the box office this weekend, raking in $62.5 million.
The debut was the second-best ever for a Pixar film.
Wall-E, the animated film about a robot left behind after humans leave Earth, managed to do quite well for Disney and Pixar.
Coming in second was the other big release for the week, Angelina Jolie’s Wanted, which took in $51.1 million, also quite strong.
Wall-E was projected to take in around $69 million for the week, but managed to do quite well getting cose to it.
In third was Get Smart, which took in $20 million, followed by The Love Guru and Kung Fu Panda.
