The always controversial and legendary George Carlin has passed away at the age of 71-years old.
George Carlin is one of most well known names in comedy and was very well respected in the industry.
Carlin took a serious risk with his career when he released Seven Words, as well as other big moments. At the time, his edgy and risky bit didn’t get much promotion becasue many didn’t want to associated with it.
He was the first ever host of Saturday Night Live, and was also well known on the late night scene.
George Carlin has received many honors for his comedic genius. Most recently he received the Mark Twain prize for humor.
Carlin died on Sunday of heart failure at the age of 71-years old.
