Canada rocked by the The MuchMusic Video Awards

Thousands of screaming fans braved the rain to see their favourite stars grace the red carpet, including presenters Perez Hilton, Chace Crawford, Whitney Port and Jason Spezza.The MuchMusic Video Awards rocked Toronto Sunday night.

But the show got even hotter when Rihanna “Took a Bow” on the stage, while the audience went nuts for the New Kids on the Block, performing their first major show in Canada in 15 years.

Hedley were the big winners of the night, taking home awards in four of the six categories in which they were nominated, including MuchLOUD Best Rock Video for “She’s So Sorry.”

Presenters Simple Plan nabbed the trophy for People’s Choice: Favorite Canadian Group, their fifth time winning in that category.
