M. Night Shyamalan is set to release his first R-rated movie this weekend with The Happening, and it appears to be quite scary.
The same guy that brought you The Sixth Sense and Sign is now set to release another supernatural film, The Happening.
The Happening focuses on how the world basically is right now, until supernatural things begin to happen and cities have to be evacuated.
Mark Wahlberg stars as Elliot Moore, a science teacher. He and his wife, played by Zooey Deschanel, decide to run away and get to the country with their friend and his daughter. Things don’t get any safer though as there is plenty of danger to be had in plants as well.
The Happening releases this Friday and has been receiving positive reviews for its scary and thrilling nature.
