A judge on Tuesday ordered 50 Cent to keep his property in New York City, where he has a $2.4 million house.
State Supreme Court Justice Carol Edmead ordered 50 Cent, real name Curtis Jackson, to put insurance proceeds he may receive in a trust account pending a $50 million lawsuit filed against him this past year by his ex-girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins.
Her lawyer, Paul Catsandonis, requested the orders so his client can get to 50 Cent’s assets if she wins the judgment.
The house burnt to the ground last month in NYC.
The home has been the center of a big feud between 50 Cent and Tompkins.
