American Idol winner David Cook is reportedly dating former Idol contestant Kimberly Caldwell, but what will this do to his career?
The obvious answer here is that the dating is not likely going to help out his career any, as it is likely that he may be easily distracted by his newfound fame and female friends.
The other important factor to remember here is that the two apparently went on the date just after Cook won American Idol, beating out David Archuleta.
Cook has stated that he is serious about his music and making a new album, but it seems that within a week of winning Idol, the focus has already shifted off of his music and more towards his love life due to his antics. This may not be the best way to start things off Mr. Cook.
