Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull opened big at the box office over the weekend, taking in $101 million.
The film did not manage to break any box office records for the weekend though unfortunately.
Indiana Jones is the fourth installment in the adventure series and will take in $151 million for the five-day weekend which kicked off on Thursday.
This will fall shy of the other five-day record holder Pirates: At World’s End which took in $153 million.
The box office earnings for Indiana Jones are still highly-impressive considering the slouching box office as of late.A
