Neil Diamond has managed to jump to the top of the U.S. album charts in its debut week.
Diamond’s latest album, Home Before Dark, managed to sell 146,000 copies in its debut week, enough to become the top-selling album in the U.S.
This is the 15th album from Neil Diamond to land in the top 10, and 46th album to land in the top 200.
Neil Diamond worked hard to promote the album on American Idol, as well as many other mainstream spots.
He is also set to kick off his 37-city tour in North America starting on July 29 in St. Paul, Minnesota.
