Timer Warner Inc’s HBO has signed a deal with Apple Inc. to bring its TV shows to the iTunes store.
The deal was announced on Tuesday that HBO is finally going to be going digital in offering individual episodes of its shows for sale online.
There is no confirmation as of yet on what the price point of the episodes will be, but most will likely carry the $1.99 price tag. Some shows could cost more.
In order to avoid from aggravating subscribers, HBO will not release their shows on iTunes until they are also available on the DVD format.
