The Screen Actors Guild walked away from talks with Hollywood producers on Tuesday without any contract in the near future.
Hollywood producers stated that the demands of the SAG in regards to DVD sales and online content was simply not feasible in anyway.
The producers put out a statement saying “With SAG’s continued adherence to unreasonable demands in both new and traditional media, continuing negotiations at this time does not make sense.”
SAG stated that the decision by the producers to pull the plug on talks was extremely disappointing.
The two sides are trying to avoid a strike similar to the 100-day writers strike which ended back in February.
There has yet to be any date agreed upon for talks to resume again.
