It has been confirmed that Britney Spears will be returning to the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother.
This will be the second appearance for Spears on the CBS sitcom.
She will be returning to the program and will be reprising her role as Abbie, the receptionist.
Executive producer Craig Thomas stated “We’re all so thrilled to have Britney joining us once again.”
She received praise for her first appearance on the comedy.
Her second spot will be in an episode on May 12, where Barney and Abbie realize they have a hatred for Ted.
They team up to torture Ted basically in the episode. The belief now is that she may be returning next season for more of a constant spot.
