Baby Mama managed to take the top spot at the box office over the weekend, starring Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.
The two Saturday Night Live veterans Fey and Poehler tore it up at the box office over the weekend, taking in $18.3 million according to estimates.
They beat out the sequel Harold and Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay, which took in $14.6 million. This is a big jump over the original Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle, which took in $5.5 million in its first week.
The Forbidden Kingdom came in third with $11.2 million, this was a 48% decline from its top spot at the box office a week ago.
Forgetting Sarah Marshall came in fourth with $11 million, while Nim’s Island rounded out the top five taking in $4.5 million.
