Montreal - Nintendo is getting ready to ramp up Wii production this summer in order to meet the high demand.
Nintendo Wii consoles are still extremely difficult to find.
The system launched nearly two years ago, and still it sells out constantly.
This is likely going to change though as Nintendo president Reggie Fils-Aime stated that the production is going to build up.
Nintendo has already shipped 18.61 million Wii consoles around the world. The total number of Wii consoles is now up to 24.45 million consoles.
This summer Reggie predicts that Nintendo will be able to greatly ramp up production for the Wii in North America, greatly increasing both sales and supply.
