New Yotk - Mariah Carey is back on the top of the U.S. album charts. Her album, E=MC2 is at the top of the charts, knocking off British singer Leona Lewis.
Her new album has managed to sell 463,000 copies, putting her at the top spot with the best first-week sales of the year to date.
She beat out Jack Johnson’s Sleep Through The Static, which sold 375,000 copies in week once.
Coming in second was Leona Lewis, followed by Miley Cyrus.
E=MC2 is the sixth number one album for Mariah Carey in the U.S.
She has built up a great deal of momentum with the album thanks to the single Touch My Body.
