The designer clothing of real estate magnate Leona Helmsley will go on the auction block in the middle of May.
The clothing of Leona Helsmley will go up for auction on May 18th.
Helmsley is best known as the Queen of Mean, as she was the real estate billionaire who went to prison for tax evasion and fraud in the early 1990s.
The Chicago-based auction house Leslie Hindman Auctioneers, who specializes in vintage clothing, will handle the auction.
The gowns and dresses of Helsmley are in sizes 6 and 8, by designers Bob Mackey, Yves Saint Laurent, Bill Blass, and Christian Dior.
They will be priced from $200 to $500.
The auctioneer called the clothes absolutely over the top and beautiful.
