The oldest son of Marlon Brando, Christian Brando, passed away at the age of 49.
Brando was sent to the hospital for pneumonia on January 11th according to an attorney for the Marlon Brando estate, David Seeley.
He was in a coma and on a ventilator at the time of his death on early Saturady.
Seeley stated “This is a sad and difficult time for the family.”
His ex-wife Deborah Brando stated “His body was totally compromised. He’d lived hard … This us just so sad.”
He was born on May 11, 1958 and had a troubled life. He was convicted of manslaughter for the killing of his sister’s boyfriend, Dag Drollet in 1990. He spent five years in jail, and also was implicated in the 2001 death of Robert Blake’s wife.
In 2004 he got married to Deborah Presley, and was later charged with spousal abuse and pleaded guilty to two counts of battery.
They settled a divorce lawsuit last year.
