Ethan Coen and his brother Joel were presented the big award for their achievement with No Country for Old Men.The Coen brothers won the top prize at the Directors Guild of America awards for their film, No Country for Old Men.

Ethan stated “Oh, we get two of them,” upon receiving their awards.

The Coen brothers beat out other directors such as Sean Penn, Tony Gilroy, Julian Schnabel, and Paul Thomas Anderson.

Yves Simoneau won for best director for a TV film for Bury My Heart on Wounded Knee.
