Britney Spears has reached an all time low in her high profile life. Just in the last year her life reads like an exaggerated Hollywood script. However behind all the seemly outrageous tabloids is a real person who is in desperate need of help.
As if trying to draw more attention to this ongoing saga the one and only (thank God for that) Dr. Phil has come to Britney’s rescue. “Dr. Phil” McGraw reportedly says Britney Spears was released from a Los Angeles hospital Saturday but still needs psychological help. Dr. Phil always seems to figure out the most impossible cases.
Paramedics took the troubled pop star there Thursday night after police were called to her home because of a dispute involving the two sons she had with ex-husband Kevin Federline.
It has been reported that Britney threatened to commit suicide in front of her two children during the three-hour stand-off with emergency services at her Beverly Hills, California, mansion, it has been revealed.
McGraw told the programs that he met with Spears and some family members and is convinced she is “in dire need of both medical and psychological intervention.” Medical center officials have had no comment on Spears. Authorities have given no full explanation of why she was hospitalized.
Following this headline-monster incident, Spears’ visitation rights to see her sons were temporarily suspended and Federline was awarded “sole legal custody and sole physical custody” of the kids at an emergency hearing on Friday (04Jan08). The custody order lasts until 14 January (08).
