It’s that time of year again, when the top search engines release their top searchers for the past year.
Once again, the always popular Britney Spears took the top spot as the most search term for 2007. Spears has remained in the news with a much publicised divorce and erratic behaviour throughout the year.
Perhaps with the controversy surrounding professional wrestler Chris Benoit, the “WWE” took the number 2 spot.
Rounding out the top three was Paris Hilton, who also made the top three in 2006.
The rest of the top 10 is essentially made up of other female celebrities including Lindsay Lohan, Jessica Alba, and Fergie.
