There has been nothing confirmed as of yet but the feeling is that the talks were positive thus far. Rumors have been circulating that the two-week strike may be coming to a close shortly.

There are twenty-six Broadway productions which are not running and did not run through the lucrative Thanksgiving weekend due to the strike.

Local One has been on strike since November 10th after they have been in a bitter contract dispute with Broadway producers.

Producers walked out of talks last weekend after two long days at the table. The most recent meeting was not even agreed to take place until Saturday.

Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical! evaded the shutdown as it was ordered to show through the weekend, and it took advantage having a great weekend on Broadway.
