Rosie O’Donnell is about to land a new TV deal as she will be the host of a new talk show on MSNBC, similar to Larry King Live.
Sources are sttaing that the former co-host of The View, Rosie O’Donnell, is getting ready to host a new prime-time show on the cable news channel MSNBC.
O’Donnell spoke on Sunday night at a book signing saying that she is going to be competing with “the guy with the suspenders and the long, long face.” That is referring to Larry King Live, a show which O’Donnell’s will be placed in, in terms of its format.
The new show is going to fill the 9 p.m. timeslot on MSNBC and go head to head with Larry King Live on CNN as well as Hannity and Colmes on Fox News.
The show will replace Live with Dan Abrams, which has been performing poorly the ratings.
O’Donnell has had her eye on many offers since leaving The View, one being the possible job as the new host of The Price is Right. which Drew Carey ended up taking.
O’Donnell may soon be a nighlt figure in the prime time slot on MSNBC.
