Britney Spears was booked for her two hit-and-run charges stemming from an incident in a parking lot back in August.
Spears turned herself into Los Angeles police on Monday night so that she could be booked for the charges. She was caught on camera scraping the car of Kim Robarb-Rifkin while attempting to park her Mercedes-Benz on August 6th.
Mike Lopez of the LAPD stated that “At around 9:25 this evening, Ms. Spears turned herself into the Van Nuys Jail for booking. This was by court order, which is common for a misdemeanor charge. She was fine, cooperative. She did her business and came out.”
The 25-year-old Spears was booked on two misdemeanor charges. These charges include hit and run as well as driving without a valid license.
The whole ordeal is far from over for Spears though as she is due back in court on October 25th to face the two charges. Spears was photographed and fingerprinted before being released on bail.
