Representatives from the band’s record label confirmed that iTunes would be one of the retailers the songs would be available from. Apple declined to comment for this story.

Zeppelin’s music will be available as full album and a la carte download. The albums being made available include Led Zeppelin (1969), Led Zeppelin II (1969), Led Zeppelin III (1970), Untitled fourth album (1971), Houses Of The Holy (1973), Physical Graffiti (1975), Presence (1976), The Song Remains The Same (1976; recently remixed and remastered for reissue on November 20), In Through The Out Door (1979), Coda (1982), How The West Was Won (2003), and Mothership (available November 13).

Led Zeppelin has had a great 12-year career and has taken a brand new step with this move. Guitarist Jimmy Page stated he was happy with the decision because it will “better enable fans to obtain our music in whatever manner they prefer.”

Led Zeppelin has sold more than 300 million albums worldwide and will release their music now on Apple’s iTunes Music Store.

They are also set to release a greatest hits album in November.
