Los Angeles - George Clooney suffered a fractured rib after being knocked off his motorcycle by a car in New Jersey on Friday, the star’s spokesperson says.
The Hollywood actor and his ‘girlfriend’ Sarah Larson, who broke her foot in the incident, were treated at Manhattan’s Palisades Medical Center and later released.
“He was treated for a hairline fracture of a rib and road rash,” Clooney’s spokesperson said.
The accident happened when a motorist signaled a left-hand turn but instead turned right, striking Clooney’s motorcycle - according to the actor’s rep.
It’s not known whether the driver has been cited for the incident.
