Easton Area High School’s 2010 yearbook is highlighted with quotes from leaders, authors, icons — and Adolf Hitler.

Hitler Yearbook Flap And Quote Taint Yearbook

A Hitler yearbook flap and quote that was part of quotes of famous people has brought unwanted attention to the 2010 Easton High School yearbook.

Easton High School in Pennsylvania published the picture and quote that was one about how to become successful.

“And in the last analysis, success is what matters.” It was credited to Adolf Hitler.

A lot of parents and students have been turned off by the picture.

The principal of the school has said that he was upset about the printing and stated that it had ‘tainted’ the yearbook.

The Hitler quote in the Easton Area High School yearbook was drawn from “The Face of the Third Reich: Portraits of the Nazi Leadership” by Joachim C. Fest.

  1. it is funny how people forget that our founding fathers had slaves. the thought of owning a person is wrong, but we qoute them and look up to them.

  2. I still don’t think T. Jefferson, or J. Madison, or B. Franklin = Hitler.
Hitler never admitted that what he was doing was wrong or worked to change his ideas.

  3. Hitler was “sucessful” only in murdering millions of innocent people and causing the death of innumerable military from many nations. He was an egotist with pcopathic overlay. He was well known but not famous. A better term is notorious. I dooubt that those who did the yearbook have studied what atrocities this “famous” man fathered.
