Boston - Wal-Mart has come out and stated that they have plans to open another 200 in-store health clinics.
This is a big step for the retail giant Wal-Mart as they are starting to see a lot of popularity in these in-store health clinics.
The name of the clinics will be “The Clinic at Wal-Mart.”
The clinics will include basic preventive and health services such as screenings for cholesterol, sore throats, and more.
Wal-Mart is signing co-branded agreements with local hospitals for the in-store clinics and medical groups.
Wal-Mart currently has leases for 78 clinics in 12 states. They expect to open 400 co-branded clinics by 2010.
