According to reports, Rupert Murdoch, the boss of media giant News Corporation, will not make a bid for Yahoo.
Murdoch was rumored to try and get the upper-hand on Microsoft by making a bid for internet search giant Yahoo.
Murdoch has stated though “We are definitely not going to make a bid for Yahoo.”
He stated “We are just not interested at this stage.”
This does not mean though that somewhere down the line interest could pop up again.
This comes just days after Microsoft sent Yahoo a $44.6 billion bid to take over the internet search giant Yahoo.
Microsoft stated this would create a “strong number two competitor” to compete with Google.
